This stool appears to have lived a few lives since it was made, and could now be used as it was originally intended, or perhaps as a stylish side table, plant stand, night stand, extra seating, or perhaps even a footstool. The flexibility in usage makes this stool worth its weight in gold. 

condition: I cleaned, oiled, and polished this stool so that it will be read for another 88 years of use
